Nearly to grand junction and running along at 80mph has this beast sucking fuel! Mpgs still say 45.2mpg but i think the computer is making it up. Might have to audit those figures with my own stats. I'm keeping a fuel log so we'll see!
I've learned a few things sitting at gas stations. One, they sell fuel and two you always have to pay for it. This trip is so educational! Ruby though how you can spot the regulars just like at a bar. They have their little routines walking through the store, they know who's working and love chatting up the cashier. Then you see the peeps like me. Those just passing through, grabbing gas and jumping back in the car. And on we go...
